About the Church

Mt. Olive is a Lutheran church that highly values God's Word and the Sacraments. We have been at our present location for over a hundred years. Our sanctuary is a beautiful place to worship. We have a diverse family of believers at Mt. Olive: Deaf, hearing, black, white, brown, wealthy, poor. Our Sunday service is interpreted, but our pastor and many of members are actively learning ASL. We have practice sessions each week, where our Deaf members teach us sign and we enjoy fellowship between one another. We also have an ASL only Bible study on Tuesdays.
